Our Downtown Family Portraits 2012

Our last official "Family Portrait" was when I was pregnant with Kaleb (though we didn't realize that at the time). They were captured by our good friend and talented fellow photographer, Kara Rushforth.

She currently lives/works in Texas, but shes from here and there was no one else we wanted to capture our larger and more awesome family.

So we arranged a photo trade and chose a date and location.

I was so scared it was going to rain that that, but thank goodness it didn't!
Marinda Kennison did my hair (the cut, the ombre color and the style) and make up, the boys dressed themselves and we looked pretty good if I do say so myself.

This was one of my favorites! Love the reflection.

Oh my goodness, he was NOT in the mood for pictures. He was so busy and fussy.

Fighting a smile.

Most of my images look something like this

Mine.

He seriously did not sit still.

Sorry Blake, but if I can look fat in all the pictures, you can look ridiculous in one. Plus I'm getting  a rare baby hug.

this is the best one from that set. Still adorable if not cooperative.

FAVORITE!

Kaleb was really digging the train.

Most of the day...

love love love!

love this one too.

He LOVES water

laughing at daddy

last favorite.

Thank you to Kara who is amazing and to Marinda who is also amazing.

Oh, and to my boys, whom I adore.

Woody and Toy Story - Kaleb's First Favorite Movie

Airline Hwy, King City, CA 93930, USA
We have a new trend over here at Casa de Verde.
And theres a snake in his boots.

Yup, my Dad got Kaleb a Sheriff Woody doll shortly after his birthday and hes been dragging him around ever since.

I thought Kaleb should know more about the man behind the badge, so I showed him the movie Toy Story...

He watched the ENTIRE MOVIE. He has never even come close to that kind of attention span before!

I don't know how thrilled I am about it, but it does come in handy. :D

Oh, and he has a Woody sippy cup too.

He'll hold Woody over his shoulder and pat his bottom, like we do to Kaleb when its bed/nap time.

And Kaleb will hold Woody tight, especially when watching Toy Story.

Kisses for Woody.

Kaleb also likes to take Woody's hat off and try to put it back on again.

Now, you may remember Kaleb being attached to a certain sock monkey... well he still is. Monkey is for bed time and church. Woody is for play time.
