Kaleb's first Day of Preschool

My baby is all grown up! Or at least it feels that way. Hes going to a local preschool at our community center and I'm so proud of him. He done the day care thing and was ok, but this will be his first time without me on location (I had to stay in the building at his day care, it was also at the community center)

He was so excited to be around the other kiddos! Now if he could just chill long enough to follow some teacher direction.

Even baby Rachie was excited for Kaleb

Rachel's First Bath

I was so nervous about bathing her, we stuck to sponge baths for a while. But I decided she had enough spit up and poop in her various crevices that she just needed a real bath.

she did a wonderful job.

she looks angry, but she was super chill and relaxed.

she started getting upset when I washed her hair.

Some cuddles and milk later, she was just fine.

Woody and Toy Story - Kaleb's First Favorite Movie

Airline Hwy, King City, CA 93930, USA
We have a new trend over here at Casa de Verde.
And theres a snake in his boots.

Yup, my Dad got Kaleb a Sheriff Woody doll shortly after his birthday and hes been dragging him around ever since.

I thought Kaleb should know more about the man behind the badge, so I showed him the movie Toy Story...

He watched the ENTIRE MOVIE. He has never even come close to that kind of attention span before!

I don't know how thrilled I am about it, but it does come in handy. :D

Oh, and he has a Woody sippy cup too.

He'll hold Woody over his shoulder and pat his bottom, like we do to Kaleb when its bed/nap time.

And Kaleb will hold Woody tight, especially when watching Toy Story.

Kisses for Woody.

Kaleb also likes to take Woody's hat off and try to put it back on again.

Now, you may remember Kaleb being attached to a certain sock monkey... well he still is. Monkey is for bed time and church. Woody is for play time.

Kaleb's first trip to DISNEYLAND!

This past Tuesday, Erica, a friend from church invited us to go to Disneyland with her, her kids and another friend (She can sign people in!)

I was so excited! Kaleb's first trip to Disneyland!

Erica picked us up and we met Denise and her little boy at the park.
We arrive. He is trilling with anticipation.

Our very first ride was SMALL WORLD. It seemed fitting as that was my favorite when I was little (and that the one all the kids wanted to go on)

*insert dark small world video of Kaleb when I have time... so probably never*

He was happy and excited to look around

Its so wonderful hanging out with moms. I usually hang out with... well... no one. Blake or my Dad mostly.

But hanging out with other moms is awesome! You get to take breaks and have snacks and change diapers and move slow and no one gets upset or frustrated with you.

Plus, Erica and Denise are super cool ladies in their own right.

All in all, the trip was aces.

(as was our second! this may be a weekly outing. I'm excited. :D)

Kaleb's first bath

Grandma has been amazing.
I would never sleep if she wasn't here. And Kaleb loves her! He just sleeps in her arms. :D

So, with grandma's help, we decided to give him a little bath yesterday. (cleaning around his stump of a belly button)

He was ok with it. Not too enjoyable but not awful. Hes still figuring everything out.
Fresh out of the tub.

He did not like being out of the water, so a chupie was needed A.S.A.P.

Aww, thats better.

So precious.

Then it was nap time with mama. :D

Thats my big blurry face by my baby.

He even smiled in his sleep! (which he wont do awake.)
So fresh and clean! So very sleepy.
